Weekend reset

Weekend media detox for a tired brain
This little media detox is for the weekends when you feel that your brain has burned out from the content - but realistically you have neither the strength nor the will for a "total digital post". Instead, you do a smart, easy reset.
1. First calm down the input
- Remove autoplay on YouTube and streaming services
- switch most apps on your phone to "no notifications"
- choose only one application for scrolling – everything else pauses
2. Content that actually recharges your batteries
Instead of watching "whatever comes out", choose 1-2 things for the weekend:
- a documentary or mini-series that you want to watch from start to finish
- a podcast episode that calms you down, not ups your nervous system
3. One less screen
Choose a part of the weekend (e.g. Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm) to be completely screen-free - a walk, a cafe, a book, cooking. Not because it "has to", but to give the head a chance to digest everything it has already eaten.
A media detox doesn't mean you're an "offline saint" - it means you choose what feeds you, instead of eating everything in a hurry.
